What is Redcliffe's set up like?

I rate it. I was there the other week only a day or so after a big dumping of rain - surface held up pretty well.

Big bar overlooking and plenty of terraced seating as well. Plenty of room for teams to warm up off the ground. Prone to some stiff sea breezes is probably the worst I can say, that and until they get a net up you'll be losing footies all day into the wetland

Yes - nets help in this respect. and goal kicking practise...
Might be a good option for the Div 1 finals in due course.

It is actually looking better than the back ovals at fishermans - bounced back quick considering 2 feet of water across it Saturday

Probably confident of winning it no doubt wherever it’s played Doc. Well done on the promotion to Div 1 next year. You and Club have worked hard.

Not sure any oval is as good as Oval 4 - maybe oval 1. Oval 3 is a sponge - just sucks it all up!

Even with a few outs - hard to beat a team who kicks 20 goals every week. That said I don't think you can read too much into the outs at this time of year.

Will have to be up for it in the finals though, weeks off can be a curse.

I definitely think they can be beaten , if teams can stick with them for 4 quarters and not 2/3

Curse or blessing is yet to be seen. The closest anyone has got is about 4 goals. They are beatable but fresh and well rested it's going to be a big ask for anyone considering I think they will all get a bit bashed up in the next month.

Wishful thinking I reckon - I'm sure they will bash themselves up at training at times to compensate for the lack of hard footy but at this level you cannot beat players who are no doubt a bit too good for the level. Hinterland would need to be off 20% and the oppo spot on to lose imo. (which i don't think will occur)

All good truths but footy is a game where strange things happen. I remember a time where Robina flogged everyone in the home and away and got demolished in the gf.
But if I was putting hard earned cash on it. Hinterland get the chocolates.
