Was my thought as well.
But then they would need ressies as well.
So would Southport and Redlands.
That's a minimum of 70 blokes needed just for these three clubs.
Where do they come from.
Then I reckon a few interstate players will go home or elsewhere for better coin.
So a shitload of spots up for grabs.
Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Have heard today we should know within 48 hours bg! Our senior coaching group meeting tonight to decide whether to start training ASAP or wait for a favourable decision where 2 or 3 groups of 20 can train at the facility!
Interesting to see what happens. Have heard too that a draw will be released after about 3 weeks of this training

Probably need this time to see who's going to participate.
Lots more to work out yet but looks like some footy will start.
Yeah realistic to think that not every club will be playing. But yes, barring any Cedar Meats-style outbreaks you could safely assume a comp will be happening.

Who's training and how's it working out.
Grange had 51 training at Hickey Park last night, consisting of 3 groups of 17 training for an hour each between 5 pm-8 pm.
Lots of new protocols to follow, but it seemed to go really well with the boys just enjoying being back out there as a group and in club colours.

Got to feel for the coaches.
That's a long nite.
Couple of clubs I know are just staggering groups of 20 in 30-40 min blocks over a few hours. Coaches rotating as well. Finding ways to make it work, very much less than ideal but hopefully things keep improving.
EFNL and NFNL, two of the biggest Melbourne metro leagues just pulled the pin and it looks like most of the Vic suburban leagues will begin to follow suit. Obviously a different situation down there but hopefully doesn't have any bearing on us.

Definitely not last night, and to be honest I don't really know what's happening with the resumption of the QAFLW competition.

With the new rules I'd say training in this comp should be back to close to normal.

Your right very rarely that many on track apart from pre season, no full ground or even half ground drills yet though.
