Sandgate knocking off Alex is big. Would say that Yeronga getting done by MB confirmed where both teams are at.

Surprised anyone thought Sandgate would not be reasonable - J.Wagner adds minimum 5 goals to that side at this level of footy. Fit, young kid coming straight out of AFL footy where he played 40 games, not just 1-5 - we haven't seen that at any level below QAFL really let alone Div 2.
Their form in pre season minus J Wagner was poor. I guess we underestimated his impact and perhaps they had others come in too.

I went out and watched them. They were beyond ordinary. But happy to say that I was wrong as the season has progressed and they have improved obviously. Wagner no doubt adds immense quality, but I notice that they picked up Lachlan Morolla from Noble Park? He would be another good get.

Any reports from the MB Yeronga game? Looked like Yeronga went with them for a bit.
Also looks like Still Me's boys made a mess of poor old Gympie? Did they double up much? Twos result looked very lopsided too.

Kedron people were also crowing about how easy they replaced a heap of good players who “they were better off without” in the preseason so not sure on the judgment at the Lions on preseason form..
let me clear this up. We know exactly what we want and it wasn’t about instant wins. We needed a culture shift and decisions were made. From my point of view to run out with a side with no one below the age of 25 apart from myself who played late yesterday is exactly in the wheelhouse as to where we want to be. I don’t want to play seniors but was forced through necessity
I’ve been straight up and honest with everything I’ve done. I am happy with where we sit as a club.
We also have a number of players that are playing at a higher level including VFL who have indicated their intention to return to their junior club in the next year or 2.
I’ve stood in front of the entire club and committee and been straight up and honest about this. I make no apologies. If anyone has an issue, well that’s on them

Hopefully goes well. I was just going off Outandabout and his big statements during preseason. Figured he spoke for the club being a coach etc.
He and I are on board with everything we’re doing. A genuine Kedron man is Bucky and wears his heart on his sleeve. We may not have replaced the experience we have lost but we have replaced with long term prospects that once that get 50-100 games under their belt will be very good footballers. The bonus is they actually all really like each other and want to play with each other and everyone has bought into what we are trying to do

I don’t know who you are to be honest, will be an interesting watch over the next few seasons to see how it goes but. Be great to see old Clyde see the club win a flag again, one of the grest men
clyde is a ripper and every club needs a clyde. FYI I am the senior coach and I don’t hide from that fact. Next few season will be interesting as we have laid a lot on the line but the buy in and the prospects that are circling will justify what we are trying to do. We have a prime location with a strong junior club that we can launch off. it’s a matter of getting things right stopping the player churn then hopefully being a able to add some cream. I’m excited about what the future holds for us

Haven’t heard that one SMY, was out with the boys last night. Had a few big weeks our Tom proposing to his lovely partner Ems.
Think he is enjoying life a bit to much for footy these days
They didn’t double any up but were short in twos so we permitted a few over to them so we could get a game away at least.
Think long weekend and travelling didn’t help but must be serious concerns with Ressies moving forward.
Maybe if it is a problem in future when playing away they contact opponents and see if they can arrange some top up players.
I will say their Senior boys kept trying to final siren.

Will be fun to watch the ladders over the next few years and see how it works out.
One thing we don’t do is pot blokes who have given years of service to the club when they move on. Far better plan one thinks.

You have your opionion and I have mine.
As to years of service you are working on wrong information there.
I'd say 2 or 3 if your looking at 3 years as a base.
We had conversations with just about everyone and explained what we were trying to achieve.
Some just didn't like the role they were offered and left.
A couple were given a choice by the committee not coaches.
You knew that obviously.
But the couple of lads we were sorry to lose know they can return any time they like and have indicated that may very well be the case.
Some even still hang out with current kedron players.
So not sure who your talking too but I know who I I've spoken to.
But it wouldn't be bigfooty if people didn't make up shit .
The truth just isn't entertaining is it.

Div 1 isn't a stroll in the park.Might be interesting to see how he goes then...
Tommy O was named in the QAFL Top 50 multiple times and came top 4 in the Grogan Medal 2 years in a row. All while his Sandgate Hawks struggled at that level.
If he decided to play Div 1, I'm sure he would be just fine...
