I have been told Banfield not invited which shocked me, being the bloke who tapped it to him a few times this year.

Hurst from Pirates huge chance as had a great year. Did his hamstring and missed last few rounds which might hurt him.

If he doesn’t win think Wagner , Templeton or one of Alex Hills boys maybe?

As a betting man I would have my money on Mckean, Murray, Bisset or L Reilly from Alex.

Not sure many people supporting Knight to win medal as he probably most disliked player in the competition that I have seen since our club is involved.

Not around his playing ability more around the way he conducts himself. Which is a shame as he can definitely play.

For the record I think Knight will win, his only issue as is always the case will his other good team mates took some votes.
A lot of goals, which stands out to the men who matter when it gets time to hand in the cards 6 weeks after the season finished. May as well do the 2023 launch

I personally don’t have any issues with him BG but nearly everyone I speak to at opposition clubs whenever speaking about Hinterland always comment on Knight in a negative way.

From what I hear he works with disabled kids and isn’t a bad fella. But you know what it’s like when you get labelled it’s hard to shake it sometimes.

If he is best player then good luck to him winning medal. But I think he had similar year last year and didn’t win it, but he may have kicked bigger bags this year.

Our 3rds (woodies) played a practice game against them last year at 24 hours notice on our ground, largely to do them a favour.

Umpire didn't show, and a good fella from Jindalee who happened to be there umpire the game to ensure we could get a game in.

Most of the blues boys were good fellas, but he carried on like a pork chop all night, abused the umpire, cheap shots off the ball against a bunch of 35 year olds then got out pointed by a particularly strong ex QAFL 100+ gamer who has a kick with us and just lost the plot. It was embarrassing.

That's my only experience and it wasn't positive, especially given the circumstances. Coach and other players were all quality fellas, especially the big unit that was ex Roos and over 40 but can seriously play!

Probably more at risk of sharing votes with his teammates this year than last year I'd say.

Yeah wonder how the relationship with the umpires has been through the year. What I saw in the NQ v SQ game wasn't great.

Other question is have any among that top group of players been reported or suspended this year?

And as always, better be getting midfield minutes to be getting votes
