Bond the form team at the moment, some handy footballers running around. beenleigh their biggest threat

dont think kenmore will be too much of a threat come the pointy end of the season. although sitting pretty at 8 & 1 right now

alex hills top players are very good. not sure there's much after that

robina very up and down but think they will claim 5th spot over carrara, just

havent watched an awful lot this year but will give it a crack and throw a few out there

Best backman? sean goode, bacon, lopez
Best Midfielder? warren, mckean, manning, davies, smart
Best Forward? brazel, corrie, franks, bisset, nolan

best ruckman? stevenson, palmer
No Cal Eddy or Bray Eddy .
You do realise that the Buffs have beaten Bond in their last 3 clashes .Before bond beat a depleted Cooly the Buffs beat them and bond were nearly at full strength that day .Kenmore will be ok had a couple of players out last week but so did the Buffs who are not at full strength yet but every one knows that .

I went and watched the game on the w/e Buffs V Bears.

Buffs really got kenmore on the outside. Buffs definitely played out of there skin. I haven't seen them play like that all year.. Play like they did and they will be hard to stop. Crazy spread from the contest. Seemed to be one of those games where the ball bounced there way. But you make your own luck. the Eddys dominated..
So to JDuncan. Also Coached really well shifting some players around like #7 deep back to chop corrie off.

Kenmore didnt have that templeton fella, or that 8ft tall ruckman and there seem to be 3/4 more missing from what i saw. dont know there names and cbf loooking. Kenmore dominated in patches but seem to not be able to get there game going like they did against us. They didnt have there usual physicality which is what our boys couldn't handle. Still arent righting them off though. they will be there abouts.

Triffet definitely a gun.

Has B Davis robina played at all this year?

Carrara look like there in some form. Id be on the watch...

What do you think is the most likely outcome for the Divisions Next year?

havent seen much on rhys king before. mid also?
templeton is a fair call, forgot him
good footballer, but wouldn't have jack brown in top 10 mids for this div
triffett gun, didnt think he was playing this year
Definitely have king in there. Silky smooth player - since his return bond have upped the ante and smoked every side in its path. King is definitely a major key in there side.
Tempelton is a younger lachie neale. very good player, dominated against us should make SQ team if hes not injured.
Bit harsh on Brown seems to be Kenmore's general in field positioning, bit like Jordon Reilly from Alex Hills. Wouldn't underestimate him but fair call.

You havent watched much Buff footy have playing out of their skin have another drink newby .That was their normal style they have been playing for the last 2 years .Full strength did not have the two James boys or EB or lewy so there is 4 .Then maybe nearly at full strength .But what side is ever at full strength .

Which 2 James boys you referring too?? I’d say they would be a better side with only 1 of them in there not sure of his name but I wouldn’t say 2 of them, need to practice there skills more 😂😂

So you don’t know who he is but know what he needs to improve on. Interesting.

Hey Commish Don’t be so defensive.

Think we can all safely agree that it appears to be a 3 horse race at this stage between Bond, Beenleigh and Kenmore. Cooly it remains to be seen whether or not they can get their full side back and be competitive again. That 5th spot, while the majority seem to think Robina i'd love Carrara to take it. Will really show that the current promotion system can work.

Lets just hope they dont change the system next year. Its a good system the Div1/2/3 Promotion/Relegation system

WHat happened with Yeronga and Park Ridge would tell you it isn't a great system at all

Cant really blame the system for what happened to Yeronga and Park Ridge,
Yeronga couldn't get numbers for 2 sides in Div 2 this year
Park Ridge had a mass exodus of top players when the needed players to stay and play in Div 1
Cant really see how it is the systems fault?

Players exited both clubs due to changes in divisions - leaving both vulnerable under the rules as they stood.

Absolutely the 'system' is the reason

Why would players exit a club for going down a division? Pretty sure a fair amount of Yeronga players either went to Kenmore or Beenleigh so they would still be in the same division the team they left?

Can't blame the system for Park Ridge having a influx of top players in one year, win a premiership and for those players plus coach leave at the end of that season. If yeronga dropped out from Div 2 earlier, might have given Park Ridge a chance to take their place in that division instead of going to Div 1.

System has been great for Aspley, Carrara and Viccy Point (Promotion) plus Kedron and Moreton Bay (Relegation) even gives clubs like Jindalee and Gympie to start building football clubs

Im sure most at those clubs would be saying it is a great system, gives clubs a chance to improve or rebuild

Tier Divisions have been more successful than Area Divisions especially for SEQ Footy

Cant say much about Park Ridge but Yeronga's exodus had nothing to do with change in divisions whatsoever. There were many other factors at play and one could actually say the system works as they will able to rebuild with due care and time, without being forced to play in a Division they aren't fit for.

Park Ridge and Yeronga where totally there own faults
the system is right and clubs like Aspley Carrara Etc. are getting the benefits
the drop downs From Div. 1 have been a problem but mostly the promotion and relegation from div 2 and 3 are working Great
Yeronga should have tried harder to make the Div 2 work

How’s it worked for carrara?? Pretty sure they have gotten players from other clubs from the past 2 years?? Example 4/5 from pirates, couple from other clubs, it’s the way QLD footy is,
Please explain how it’s park ridge fault?
Believe they only have 7-8 from last years side

How is it not the pirates fault ? How was getting 10 players that live 50 km away ever going to work long term !
