he was cleared.
absolute gun player, suffered a horrific injury last year in QAFL finals and understandably hasn't regained his top line form, so rather than play at midday is playing seniors at a lower level.
If they make up more rules that prevent this, we may as well all give up

Big difference bn permit and clearance - he will stay with Cooly now. Disagree Thommo - this is a really good rule for the entire comps now. Shouldn't be allowed to have guys from QAFL for instance permitted back to a Div 3 side when they have a bye or even a Div 1 side tbh. Compromises comps. Guys at upper levels don't have special privileges over the guys at lower levels.

Not sure exactly what you mean but surely a div 4 or 5 player playing up (imagine with same club but possibly not) is only playing on permit so can always come back down? I just reckon if the laws aren't pretty tight then clubs can (and will) manipulate.
nope, you play a single senior game in QAFL, Div 1, Div 2, Div 3 then you are banned from Div 4 and 5 for the year.
Whether you're on permit, whether you started in div 3 then decided to be cleared to Div 4, whatever.
So perhaps you're 19 and play Div 4, want exposure to a senior game in Div 3 on permit? Nope, done for the year
Perhaps a Div 2 or Div 3 club comes asking a Div 4 or Div 5 side for help when they are short on numbers for a Senior game and none of the regular 2s want to play, nope - no club will help anymore because their player is done for the year.
We've even had the situation this year at the Magpies where during an injury crisis, 1 or 2 guys played seniors who when the club is at full strength may not get a 2s game but they can't play for our 3rds because of the rule! As a result, they are expected to play at another club.

ROOS are up to qafl, noosa yet to decide.
Should they elevate and burleigh drop,
Could see a bond/kenmore/buffs trio elevated to div 1.
All 3 would need to recruit some low point guns to ensure salary cap/points are met.
Become a fascinating few years. Colts becomes vital for clubs to become dominant and remain under points..

BigBadBambi my pick for League B&F would be Manning from Robina. Missed a few games but besides being a jet, he has an impressive beard, more ink than a pen factory and is by far the best player I have seen this year.

This round will be hard to tell with splendor on. Few years ago Coomera dusted Kenmore in both grades as Kenmore apparently had 12 seniors missing because of it.

Yeah, I do agree he's a great front running mid. But doesn't get a possy centre back.
Any good side sticks an unskilled for player on him and he goes very quiet.
In saying that. He's 34.. and his best is behind him. But to still be carving this league shows his natural talent.

Hard to split the top teams IMO

Without pretending to know anything about the teams in this div I am surprised that having seen a few of the Bond boys first hand in the rep game that they cannot be favourites. Gee they were good footballers.

They have some guns for sure, personally I just think Buffs are more even across the park where as Bond drop off a little sharper. That being said, wouldn't surprise me to see Bond win it.
