Sherwood were due to play Ipswich which would of been a handy percentage boost and even organised another ground but Ipswich 1 didnt have the player to field two side so didn't want to play the game.

Qafl have wiped their hands of it and allowed Springfield to keep the 4 points why Sherwood and CP were made to split the points.

Huge disadvantage for Sherwood given the results of their game last night.

maroochydore v Kawana winner hosts the QF. Maroochydore safe in top 3 Kawana lose then becomes reliant on North shore v Glass House

North Shore win these 2 face off again in an elimination final the week after.
GlassHouse win they rely on a Kawana Loss to finish 3rd. Lose and Kawana remain in the top 3 and QF final against maroochydore
 
Yeah that couldn't have been fixtured any better.

2 games are effectively playoffs for a home final the next week, and a spoonbowl

and gee I hope Caloundra likes byes! Might end up playing 3 games in 2 months if they win straight through to the GF

Win the game on Friday, play finals.

Your lads have really hit the ground running and regardless of what happens from here for the rest of the year this first year would have to be labeled a success.

yeah huge success regardless of what happens from here. It’s created an enormous amount of enthusiasm throughout the rest of the club. Grown faster and larger then we imagined
 
GC finals prediction.

QF- Southport to easily account for Labrador.

EF- Close one but Ormeau over Carrara.

Brisbane south.

QF- Coops easy win over Redlands.

EF- Collingwood Park just getting over Springfield.

Well I was 2/4 lol.

Big upset with Labrador beating Southport. Carrara knock Ormeau out of finals.

Redlands gave a fight but coops too strong. Collingwood Park very comfortable knocking Springfield out.

First week of finals for SC and Brisbane North next week.

yeah 3 or 4 to come back in next week. Roos got the jump however after qtr time was pretty tight. Margin got within 2 1/2 goals in other last qtr so wasn’t really comfortable

Round 2 of finals for South and GC

Bit of common sense. You worry that when they line up finals for south/GC and north/SC on the same night that they're gearing up to send everyone to Yeronga!

When was the last time there was a senior grand final at any level on the sunny coast?

Possibly the Pineapple Cup GF Noosa v PBC back in 2010 or thereabouts? Maybe a Div 3/4 GF has been played in between?
