if its north south, they won't be dominant by any stretch, but if they went straight to Div 4, could be trouble.

hopefully not north/south though, massive imbalance between div 3 and 4.

would think despite the rules saying you have to come in via Div 4, they would be better off going straight into Div 3 if they are putting together an experienced list. Common sense rules applied would result in that.

Thought the north and south thing was canned and it’s staying as it is?

If anyone is getting a match payment in either of the comps I’d be embarrassed to receive it. There is no cap because no club yet has ever been stupid enough to offer match payments, the league also doesn’t give this comp much credibility either so doubt they would want to police it.

Great that Friday nights are the big talk but, premier footy comps in Qld for sure..

It seems the players they have been lucky enough to recruit either live close to the ground or cant play Saturdays. Appears to be 99% dumb luck thus far.

Be very surprised if anyone in any team in this div would ever be paid.

But surely when talking about teams potentially going far this year surely you can’t dismiss Morningside.

Strong club with obliviously depth across the board and reigning premiers.

wouldn't have thought so. Fell in last year, and were stacked to the bleachers with their Seniors bringing in so many from NEAFL/VFL guys and the result in talent flowing down the hill.

Good to see the league sticking with the Div 3 / Div 4 as opposed to North South. Looking at up to 20 Friday Night sides across the two divisions!

Definitely a positive. There has been some terrific rivalries build up in the last few seasons, would of been a shame not to be able to sledge Thommo playing the Woodies...

No new teams in the comps released yet, do all the new teams go into div 4, there was a rule a while back that new clubs entered via that comp.

PAC Pines Chequebookers, Northshore, Vic Point the new clubs entering? Any others?

Bit of chat, including on the div 1 forum on here that the Hornets are struggling for numbers in QFA and may look to enter the Friday night comp.....would be surprised though...

2 massive signings again last night, they will have to play with blind folds at this rate

Glad AFLQ used their common sense to keep it Div 3 and 4, now comes the true test to see if they can find the balance for these divisions and get the new teams entering into the right division.
