45-50 minutes depends where they’re coming from. Not a lot players live in Landsborough or Pomona

Pretty easy drive too. Both clubs approx 10min off the Bruce Hwy.

Anyone know who the teams will be with Moorooka in Div 2 now? Who will replace them? Obviously they had 2 teams so assuming they keep the other one.

I don’t think anyone will replace them but it’ll still be an 11 team comp or something like that. Not aware of any teams falling out nor aware of any new Brisbane south teams coming in.

That second team was already a ressies side pretty much to help them have numbers and two teams going back to Saturday’s.

Yeah can't imagine too many clubs being able to keep a thirds team at the same time as making a jump to Div 2

Ahhh yes. Do recall them posting on FB recently about EOI for a Friday night team.

Broady, Burleigh and Surfers all confirmed for Div 3 GC. Which is great for the comp.

Beenleigh have publicly confirmed via their Facebook page that they’re going to Div 3 on Friday nights.

It’s really sobering how a club that was the first team into a QFA Div 1 Grand Final just 3-4 years ago have dropped so far so quickly.

Hopefully they have a successful 2026. I wonder if they’re directed to the Gold Coast or Brisbane South zones.

I heard their coach is on the move to MtGravatt to coach the Ressies which doesn’t fare well for Buffs you would think.

So interesting seeing a club fall from absolute grace and drop about 3 divisions, almost crumble into nothing. Div 1 2022 GF, 2025 winless in Div 2 south. Falling to Div 3 Fridays 2026.

So begs the question. 3 clubs going through a lot. Yeronga, Mt Gravatt and Beenleigh. All had winless seasons in 2025. All in different comps and yes I’m well aware of the different history. But 3 very different outcomes. One club gets kicked out, one gets a third chance and the other is just left to die on its own?

I take your point but minor correction. Beenleigh won a game both in 2024 (Div 1) & last year (2025 in Div 2 South). The other 2 haven’t won a game in either 2024 or 2025.
