It’s a brand new season in the SFA and Mobbs was in a particularly good move, “finally the league has come to its senses and decided to give injuries and suspensions a go, this is great for the immersion of the league and delivery of an authentic Qooty experience...”



While Mobbs beamed in delight about people randomly missing out on playing Qooty for no reason I noticed in the squad submission thread that por_please_ya had retired. How curious, I thought, so I reached out and asked porps why that is, “You guys have introduced injuries and suspensions this season, I think I’d prefer to play in a league run by rational people capable of logic and reason.” Mobbs overheard this conversation and could barely contain his rage, lashing out “WE DIDNT NEED YOU ANYWAY YOU SELFISH GLORY HUNTING TROGLODYTE”.



Then Round 1 games were posted, TheInjuryFactory who had been actively contributing in match threads all week (a novelty in Coney Island) had played a brilliant game that will surely get him 3 votes in the Mobbs medal. But in the stats posted at the end, he noticed a weird appendage,



TheInjuryFactory was injured during the game and will miss the next two weeks.



Now being rubbed out of Qooty for two weeks for no reason, TIF lost all interest in the SFA and promptly deleted his account.



Mobbs was incensed now that the Injuries and suspensions feature he was sure would benefit the league had caused two active contributors to leave. His eyes were bulging out of his head with rage before the final straw came, he read a media thread that was titled “Our great finals system, advocating the efficacy of the top 8”. Seconds upon seeing the title Mobbs’ head exploded.



Elsewhere in the media, a media writer had penned a thread inviting all Bombers posters to join the wonders’ match thread, Dingster had already been demoted to back pocket and this has pushed him into immediate retirement.



After finishing off one media piece, media thread writer pantskyle decided that he was on roll in accumulating Beez votes and thought why not go for two threads in one day. This time his target was the stats whores that never play anywhere outside of the follower line or full forward. His scathing attack upon being seen was reported by all rovers and full forwards across the league, unfortunately for pants the league admin was sympathetic to stats whores and banished him from the SFA.



Meanwhile, SarahSmiles was in a match thread with the Gumbies. He logged out and never logged back into BF.

Following the recent exodus from the Sweet FA, people were looking for the solution to the decline in Qooty participation and they concluded that there were far too many shitposters in the league. So a poll was ran to discover who was responsible for turning posters away from the league and the results showed that the league public had voted MWPP and manangatang as the joint-worst posters in the league. With this in mind moderator NaturalDisaster did the most reasonable thing expected of him and nuked both's accounts to save the league. Unfortunately for ND, in the process of doing so his uncoordinatedness meant that he also accidentally nuked his own accounts as well.

The Sweet FA celebrated thinking that the league would revive itself, unfortunately the only result was another three active posters being lost to the game.

The SFA Community gathered the play one of its favourite past times, werewolf. During a Day 1 crapshoot the vote somehow landed on DemonJim who instantly began melting with every bandwagon vote that piled on. As the deadline came and DemonJim was lynched as a Villager, Jim decided that his time could be better spent and made the decision to quit posting on BF and instead open his own All Night Gym - DemonGym.

It’s now halfway through the Sweet FA season and things were looking up for Barrybran and the Gumbies. His team were posting weird team sheets, on the bottom of the ladder and had incurred 16 penalty points. But they were having fun and Barry was a shoe-in for the All-SFA. Then at the conclusion of one game, the Injuries and suspension by chance hit all three active Gumbies players causing them to lose interest and Baz to give up and delete his account.



Tarkyn_24 had not been paying much attention to the SFA this season and was busy off site. When he finally logged back on the first media thread he saw was “Congratulations okeydoke7 on becoming the league’s leading goal scorer”. Tarks thought ‘there’s no way okey could’ve caught up in such a short time’ then discovered that sim tweaks had upped scoring by 300% and his captain was playing him at fullback. Upon realising that okey had unironically dethroned him Tarks had an aneurysm and died.



TJASTA had been valiantly leading the hapless Furies all season, writing plenty threads in the media and actively representing, then after one game a bunch of egotistical stats whores decided to mock his captaincy after a 114 point Fury loss. Expecting teammates to back him up, his team instead joined in and this prompted to quit the league, go outside and smell the flowers.

The Captains of the Committee Room held an emergency meeting to address the steep loss of players to the league in recent times. And finally they came to the conclusion that a feature which randomly prevents players playing Qooty is not conducive to the growth of the league. It was put to a vote and common sense prevailed with a unanimous decision to abolish the Injuries & Suspensions feature in the sim.

It was time for State Of Origin, no not the successful longstanding tradition that I reintroduced. The sucky version that was based on the land of Sweet that 3 people cared about.

The Filth Wizard in his stats whoring nature hogged Full Forward for himself while Agent93 was relegated to the Forward Pocket. There was a dispute for the full forward position and a fight to the death ensued. No a literal fight to the death whereby they met up in the real world and clubbed one another to death with ham sandwiches.
