Zorko nearly got there again this weekend, I reckon he'll be first to crack it.

Zorko only has two games of double digit marks (with only two marks on the weekend). I think he'll struggle at those marks, though both of those double digit mark games featured 8 tackles so was only two off each time.

Marks are disposals are somewhat double dipping, TBPH.

It is, but really its the getting 10 marks and 10 tackles that make the list exclusive just because the type of player to get high numbers for one rarely gets high numbers for the other.

Only when you just miss getting one of marks or tackles can you really say you were close to geting the quaddruple. ie if someone goes 22K, 13H, 11M, 5T they are still miles off it. 5 tackles dont come easy, or 5 marks when you are the type of player that gets big tackle numbers.

If you just made the state requirements 20 touches, 10 marks, 10 tackles I wonder how many more would have made it.

I was going to say I doubt many at all. Then I looked up our recent past tackling machines Bartel, Kelly and Corey.

James Bartel Rd 16 2005 v PA. 23K 9H 10M 12T. Very stiff, also kicked 3.1 and was clearly BOG.

So maybe a there are a few more that miss on the disposals.

Think Heeney would be someone who could do it someday.

That being said I would have have never picked Ben McGlynn to do it so it's not always who you expect.

Heppell has had 10 or more tackles twice in 110 games. Averages fewer than 4 tackles a game and fewer than 5 since he moved into the midfield. Not someone I'd be picking to do it.
That's surprising. Then again, not many would have picked Stanton as a big tackler either and he's done it.

Stanton was Rockliff before Rockliff was Rockliff. Ultimate DT pig.

Not a big tackler but used to get 10+ marks a few times a year so on the few occasions he posted high tackle numbers he was a good bet for a TD.

This round so far:
Rockliff: 21-11-7-11
Hunter: 13-15-8-8
Hall: 22-10-10-8

Surely someone will do it soon...
