Clearances don't count.

It's like saying a basketballer has a triple double because he had 10+ points, 10+ free throws and 10+ threes. They're not completely separate in that a kick can be a rebound 50 or a clearance or an inside 50 etc.

Regardless it is a little silly. Would rate 10 clearances far more than say 10 marks

Kicks, handballs, marks, tackles are all completely separate categories.

Was just having a quick glance, Nick Riewoldt's had a triple double about 4 times this year, just doesn't lay enough tackles to make it a quad.

Liam Shiels has had the kicks, handballs and tackles covered twice where he took 7 marks.

His best effort getting the kicks, handballs and marks was 7 tackles.

Dont think anyone else at Hawthorn has come close.
