Ok the op says steals or blocks. So going by that if we changed marks to clearances he done it. Just moving things around.

Too many stats in footy; easier to just stick with kicks, handballs, marks and tackles. It's meant to be difficult.

Very odd that Rocky only took one mark though, usually good for 5+ in this sort of form.

Averages nearly 6 marks a game this year and over 4 across his short career. Yet to reach double figures in tackles yet this year but does average over 5. He's going to get a QD this year, I'm sure of it.
Had 12 last night ;)

Fair call. Would of thought clearance numbers would be up there in importance as the others.

I believe the logic was that to get a clearance, inside 50, goal or the like, you have to kick or handball anyway. Kicks, marks, handballs, tackles are all disconnected stats much like the stats in basketball.

Yeah i do agree. I just thought he took more then 1 mark. Killed all the rest of the stats. If he played in a winning team week in week out he would be unstoppable. Alas he may get that opportunity next season.

The correct answer is 10 kicks, 10 handballs, 10 marks and 10 tackles. The other stats are just shit.
I disagree. 10 inside 50's is an impressive effort. For a defender, 10 spoils.
