I have meaning to look at if getting this rare achievement links into any brownlow votes, best on grounds, medals/ awards, coaches awards anything???

Anyone want to look at any of their players from the team they support and report back?

might be interesting the results

Scott Thompson (Adelaide) - 24 May 2008 round 9 vs WCE : 17 kicks, 15 handballs, 10 marks 10 tackles

Joel Selwood (Geelong) - 25 July 2009 round 17 vs Hawthorn :19 Kicks, 23 Handballs, 10 marks and 11 tackles

Brent Stanton (Essendon) - 31 July 2011 round 19 vs Collingwood:22 kicks, 18 handballs, 10 marks, 10 tackles

Ben McGlynn (Sydney) - 19 April 2014 round 5 vs Fremantle:14 Kicks,10 Marks,10 Handballs,12 Tackles

Tom Rockliff (Brisbane) - 10 Aug 2014 Round 20 vs Adelaide:22 kicks, 18 handballs, 10 marks, 10 tackles

Corey Enright (Geelong) - 8 May 2015 round 6 vs Collingwood: 18 kicks,11 handballs,12 marks,11 tackles
Scott Thompson - Smashed by 50 points. No Brownlow votes.

Joel Selwood - 1 point win. 3 Brownlow votes.

Brent Stanton - Smacked by 74 points. No Brownlow votes.

Ben McGlynn - Josh Kennedy’s 38 and a goal for the 3. McGlynn got 2.

Tom Rockliff - Smacked by 105 points. No Brownlow votes.

Corey Enright - This one blows my mind. Cats win by 7 goals. Enright has 29, 12 marks and 11 tackles, gets 0 Brownlow votes whilst Selwood’s 26/7 tackles/7 clearances gets 1 and Blicavs’ 27/6 tackles/5 clearances/6 hitouts gets 2 votes. Duncan seems to be comfortable BOG with 3 votes (38 pos./12 marks/7 clearances). Enright stiff not to poll.

In basketball a quadruple double i.e accumulating 10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and either 10 blocks or 10 steals in one game is a rare feat that has has only been done 4 times in over 50 years in the NBA

Has any AFL player managed 10 kicks,10 handballs,10 marks and 10 tackles in one game?
Sicily did something unique on the weekend.

With double digit defensive numbers.
24 touches 19 kicks 11 intercepts 10 rebounds 12 one percenters (10 spoils).

Jai Newcombe does well for a kid. And he is more likely to fail Handballs rather than Tackles.

The boy loves his 50m kicks.

10 kicks, 8 marks, 8 handballs, 11 tackles in his 6th game.
Is a good shout for it, does get a number of marks by providing an option when the balls coming out of the d50.

His tackle numbers are well down this year though. Though he just needs one big game where it all comes together.

Its impressive that he is down to 5 tackles a game :)
He’s averaging 4 tackles a game. But it’s not so much his averages but that he’s had no more than 6 tackles a game this year. It’s a long way from 6 tackles to 10.

With marks gotten 8,7,7 and a few 6’s. So he’s tracking towards a 10.

Even handballs he’s only hit 10 3 times. So while he has the potential, he’s not tracking close at the moment.

Andrew Brayshaw remains closest to the pin so far this season with a mammoth 26/14/10/8 in round 2.

Dunkley has been threatening with games of 9/14/9/7, 11/17/7/10 and 10/15/12/7

Mills another likely type with games of 21/8/7/13 and 12/11/8/8

Others in the conversation who have shown signs they're capable if things go their way: Jack Steele, Touk Miller, Tom Mitchell, Jack Crisp, Luke Parker, Dayne Zorko, Jai Newcombe

Blicavs could be a shout at some point. Went 16/9/6/9 today.

Definitely. Increased ruck time with Stanley out has helped his numbers being around the ball more. Harder to see him doing it with Stanley back in the team. Did get a 9/13/7/8 earlier in the season in his normal role however so who knows.

Switching between the 2 roles could help him balance the marks and tackles.

Jed Anderson watch.

10/3/6/8 half way through the 2nd. Handballs the easiest to catch up on.

I think we should add a category to honour one unique (as far as I can find) quadruple double:

Adam McPhee, what a machine.
