Against Brisbane rnd 10 2006, he missed out by 2 tackles!

For the record, top thread! It's amazing how so many players have come so close yet no-one has, in fact, had the AFL equivalent of a tripple double.

Luke Ball had 13 kicks, 15 handballs, 10 tackles but only 6 marks in Rnd 17 2006.

Robert Harvey had 17 kicks, 11 maarks, 14 handballs but only 6 tackles in a final against Adelaide.

Scott West in Round 5 2007 had 17 kicks, 13 marks, 24 handballs and 7 tackles.

And for an odd one ... Jason Blake had 14 kicks, 10 marks, 11 handballs, 20 hitouts but only 5 tackles in Round 5 last year.

Meh... stats don't translate to Aussie rules nearly as well as they do with basketball. To get 10+ points, rebounds, assists, blocks in a basketball game is a significant feat in the NBA, but for AFL not a big deal. stats in footy are well and truly overrated.

I was going to suggest Brett Kirk because of his high tackle figures but looking at his stats he has only ever taken 10 marks in a game once, same problem as Judd.

I haven't followed this thread but theres only a few players worth looking at due to the tackles.

Corey, Bartel, Ball, Hayes, Power, Kirk, McDonald, Thompson, Bentick, Carazzo, Judd..

Some of these guys have only been good at tackling in seasons gone but they're all worth having a look at.
