I've applied for the beta, but I haven't got an email yet. The other night I was emailing around trying to get a code. I was the biggest Quake 3 Arena fan EVER.

I hope it's more like quakeworld, as that was the greatest. But q3a was pretty good also, it just lacked air movement and a decent RL.

It's basically Q3A but a bit faster IMO. There are plenty of Australian servers as well. It feels like a complete game, not a beta.

Umm, when i'm trying to register but the code to see if you're human won't show up. How do you make it come up? I tried refresh and show image but nothing.

Maybe try internet explorer if you're using Mozilla or another browser?

Yeah. It's Q3A but free, browser based and has a few slight adjustments.

I was frustrated because they teams were so unbalanced.

I sent you a friend request, but my wireless connection drops out about every 30 seconds and freezes the game. Makes it really difficult to play.

Does anyone know how long/hard it would take to hardwire a computer that is about 20 metres away?

What do you mean by that?

Are you talking about getting an ethernet cable and plugging that into your computer? I guess it may take a few minutes to go to the shop and then 30 seconds to plug in the cable...

I think my cable is about 10-15m or so and that runs from my router to the PS3. It is a pretty easy job unless you are talking about something far more complex.

But I don't want a cable running through the whole house on the floor.

I guess I will have to go under the house, which is a pain in the ass.

You are only 20m away! Why do you need to run a cable under the house?

Just go out and buy an ethernet cable, they are pretty cheap. Then attach one end to the router and the other into the ethernet port on the back of your PC.

If it gets in the way and you aren't playing online simply unplug it.

No need to drill holes or crawl under your house while inflicting yourself with a nasty pain in your rectum. It's fairly simple mate.
