Browny said on his podcast yesterday that a few of our players were ill leading up the game.
Was wondering about this
Same with the crows. They have a few not training this week

One of cat's supporting friend immediately called me and abused me. I said I am not the responsible for the umpire's decision and that hitting players behind the ball is a free kick.the media and non lions fans have Cam Rayner in the same light as this Dezi Freeman guy… sheesh, talk about an over reaction
I was at the game Friday and as I was getting a drink at half time a few Geelong supporters were calling me a cheat haha
Agree, Gerard and Garry sit there like stunned little kids after being schooled by Leigh Matthews.Gerard just sits there like a grinning idiot.
That is a completely unhinged reaction by your cats supporting mate. LOL it is wild how people act when it comes to our sporting teams. One of cat's supporting friend immediately called me and abused me. I said I am not the responsible for the umpire's decision and that hitting players behind the ball is a free kick.![]()
It's nonsensical, it's called collective guilt or guilt by association, it pervades through a lot of the discourse in society now.One of cat's supporting friend immediately called me and abused me. I said I am not the responsible for the umpire's decision and that hitting players behind the ball is a free kick.![]()
We see and hear what we want to sometimes. That is a completely unhinged reaction by your cats supporting mate. LOL it is wild how people act when it comes to our sporting teams.
Oh yeah. 100% and dominate them. With all the reaction you would have thought Geelong lost this game. Be good to play them again this year though.....
It is one of the issues in the modern game IMO. In a bygone era, the chance of retribution would keep these things in check more often than not. It's why the AFL needs to cut down on that kind of behavior, there isn't much the players can do to stop it from happening now, other than tell the umpires. If you had've pinched Lockett or Ablett they would've decked you straight away.
I don't think this eras current snipers and pests would've lasted 5 minutes.
Surely there must be some behind the goals vision of what was happening to Cam?
Incredibly hard guy to argue anything football related with.Agree, Gerard and Garry sit there like stunned little kids after being schooled by Leigh Matthews.
Only if 7 & or fox want to troll through the behind the goals camera footage and put it out there.Surely there must be some behind the goals vision of what was happening to Cam?
Sucks to be a footballer in this situation. My daughter is likely to give me a round-house kick if I was to do the same thing to her.Video files too large so just uploading a GIF. I am sure TV networks have better footage
Matthews with a bit of sense as usual.
But everyone will just say he is a Lions supporter.
They already did all over SEN talkback today. Took about 27 seconds.Or they'll (Geelong supporters) bring up the Neville Bruns incident
I watched 360 with razor ray dissecting the Rayner free. It was pretty comical.
- The nerdling was fear mongering that everyone will be flopping and diving now
- Razor tried to claim that the push in the goal square was ‘in play’ because it was within a kick of the ball which was -checks notes- 150m away.
- They then showed other free kicks from the weekend which shouldn’t have been free kicks. Lo and behold they were all interstate teams. They didn’t show the most obvious one which was Worpel staging for a 50 and a goal.
I’m sure Cam couldn’t care less but it’s funny how this is being covered. Very selective.
Geelong will need an army of psychs if Hawks beat them in the prelim.Or they'll (Geelong supporters) bring up the Neville Bruns incident
the response from Cam and the club has been perfect. Zero engagement.I’m sure Cam couldn’t care less but it’s funny how this is being covered. Very selective.
