I don't get having 3 ruckman + Taberner in. Unless one of Griff, Clarke, and Tabs play back.

im a bit confused with the three rucks. One must be playing in the backline?

Sydney's ruck is probably their weakness so I am assuming RTB plans to completely obliterate Pyke at stoppages

OR

Sandi and Griff rotate through the ruck with Clarke a permanent forward?

Have we played three ruck all year? Find it strange we would try it out in a QF in wet weather

SO CONFUSED

Griffin for Crozier, anyone that suggested that at the start of the week would have been ridiculed.
Just can't see the logic of it, surely it won't happen

Trying to go tall enough in our forward half that reid has to go back? Must be a ruse. We struggle to get an impact out of the second ruckman, let alone playing a third. Either that or covering an injury. The plot just thickened. Smart move, give them some headaches to deal with in their team meetings.

I just quickly scoured through some statistics so I might have missed something but:

only once before have Clarke, Sandilands and Griffin played together -
Round 9 2012 vs West Coast; West Coast 84 d Fremantle 36

Griffin: 2 kicks, 3 handballs, 2 marks, 6 hitouts, 1 tackle & subbed out

Sandi: 9 kicks, 8 handballs, 4 marks, 27 hitouts, 1 tackle

Clarke: 6 kicks, 5 handballs, 3 marks, 5 hitouts, 3 tackles

Something that springs to mind is playing Clarke forward permanently will force Reid from FWD to DEF as we would have three talls. Pav, Tabs, Clarke. Mayne then goes back

Another thing is there could be a cloud over Sandi's fitness

Surely we'll make some late changes on Saturday, especially if it's raining.
I would expect either De Boer or Crozier to come in as a late inclusion for Griffin, but I'm starting to worry that maybe Sandilands' knee won't come up in time.
