As a general rule Port is one of those teams that has players that attract less attention than certain other clubs. Its why you often find Port players suddenly "break out" after being traded. Guys like Butters, Houston and DBJ are elite top line players but are probably not even household names outside Port.

The season Zak has put together this year is nothing short of extraordinary and a large part of the reason why we finished top and are now in to a prelim (and probably in the top 3 favourites for the flag)

As a neutral Id strongly recommend having a closer look if youre ever watching a Port game, so much of the stuff he does is absolute genius, game changing stuff while also being one of the toughest players in the game. The gif posted here is a perfect example of it.

Certainly deserved an AA spot over Caleb Daniel, Liam Ryan or Taylor Adams. Also to clarify, I am aware a lot of the AA team this year was laughable trash eg Sheppard making it, only 3 forwards picked, etc. and Zak wasnt the hardest done by. Its still ridiculous he wasnt in it though.

This is true, but also not necessarily a strong argument for Zac, because literally everyone else in the squad of 40 (and a few others too) deserved to be in ahead of Guthrie.

Totally lost in the wash when watching it the first time but......rewatching this at the moment, nearly thru the first quarter, Hartlett and Amon with some crucial touches. Couple super efforts each.
