Like for like. Both left arm swingmen. The towering Blue may be the faster, but Paris is streets ahead in accuracy.. CA has to bite the bullet and have Paris as a ready replacement for Starc when he ultimately fails. We can no longer afford to carry a bowling passenger like we did against India.
Issue with Starc is he’s in the side as a strike bowler but also to swing the ball. You’re either Johnson or Jimmy Anderson. He’s average at both and not excellent at either.Like for like.
