I was fortunate to know him for the last 10 or so years. He was a funny guy and extremely generous and never let his illness get in the way of his dreams. He packed so much into his 43 years and will be missed by so many. Rest easy Q man

I remember a number of those Willisee interviews from early/mid 80’s, he was a tough little kid with a wicked sense of humour. I read recently he has had over 600 fractures which defies belief.
He has overcome a really debilitating disability to achieve a lot of his dreams.
RIP Quentin.

I think I read yesterday he had over 30 fractures in his life. Was a remarkable man who didnt let his disabilities limit him and achieved plenty.
I read that it was over 600 fractures which sounds almost impossible. Either way, certainly a remarkable man who achieved so much during his life.

He was a character, that’s for sure. Even in his early life interviews with Ray Martib you could tell he had a cheeky side.

I've had dealings with this fellah and what the public see is far different to what he was like in real life.

Pretty much every South Australian I have met that claims to have met him have said similar. Even if he was like people have claimed I simply cannot deny his hustle under adversity.
