My wife says curtains should be hung with the coloured side facing into the room and the white backing facing the window. To me, it would be better if they faced the opposite way. What do you think / do?

Yeah I've never really thought about it. Curtains are one of those things that are always just there, you never actually purchase them. Like those lollies in colourful foil wrappers in bowls on dinner tables.
