Thanks for the info! What an age we live in. I will have to stock up on these next time I am in Australia. :)

Retro round 19. What's that about? Are they just going to wear collared woollen replica guernseys or will we get some cool designs. I might be mistaken and it probably is a fox footy thing only

Fox Footy thing.

(Guess this could also go in the "Jumpers that never were' thread)
Has anyone ever tried contacting West Coast about the 6 (at least) other proposed guernseys before the 2000 season? The primary schools kids obviously chose Ochre in the end but would be interesting to see what else the geniuses at Puma came up with at the time

Where's mention of this?

Clubs love throwing it back to ugly jumpers as it's good for likes and tags on Facebook, so maybe you could get in contact with the Eagles and try and imply this. It could even possibly be in an old magazine? I know all the old Docker mags are archived on the FFC website so maybe try that.

There was something about pros and cons between the gradient eagle and the tri-panel as well as pros and cons between the ochre and wings. But that's the only thing I've seen on the topic.

Got a photoshop question for anyone who's willing to answer-

What are some of the best ways of removing designs like stripes in images like the above? Previously I've used the healing brush tools and the clone stamp, but that only seems to work best for smaller things like monograms. Interested to see if there's an alternative way to what I've been attempting.

Select colour by colour and adjust settings.

Bring back Heritage round. It has a game/round for practically everything else. :)
It'll be hard to get the AFL to commit to it without it being dedicated to a minority group, maybe we could argue it's ageist to not Have round dedicated to the oldies.

AFL response to that arguement is it'd exempt and therefore be discriminatory to 5 year old start up clubs like GC and GWS....

GC wear their VFL away jumper, GWS wear their TAC jumper. Simples.

Either that or Fauxbacks (Like the Tampa Bay Rays did) which has potential for the two clubs to have some fun with designs.

That's what Adelaide did too, can't see why it wouldn't work for GWS or GC.

Need advice on a Fantasy team name:
Basically I am in the Pakenham/Officer region of Melbourne (Cardinia)

Looking for a good team name, but the following are taken:
Cats
Whippets
Staghounds
Tigers
Sharks
Giants
Crows
Burras
Dogs
Magpies
Warriors
Roos
Bombers

Trying to find one that has a good ring to but not laughable.

Some I thought about:
Pakenham Panthers
Officer Parrots (least preferred)
Pakenham Pirates
Cardinia Raiders

Any other suggestions?

Cranbourne Heat? Cranburn?

But Officer has heaps to play with. Officer Sheriffs?

You're near Pakenham Upper too. What about 'Pakenham Up.'

Nar Nar Goon is next door... 'Nar Nar Goon Sacks,' 'Yer Nar Goon?'

By fantasy do you mean fantasy Premier League or something? They're always best when you take the piss or be lighthearted. What about The Yes Officers? The Officer Workers? Officer Donuts And if you're an ultra (UK) Office fan, what about 'Keenan Country FC?'

Pakenham Packers
I was thinking Pako was closer to the water, but even still, could you play with a Green Bay theme?

Pity it isn't right where Southbank is, otherwise you could call em the Green River Packers.

Then again even green is probably a flattering colour to call the Yarra...
