I notice Footypedia's web site is defunct...

Anyone know of some sites which have info on former footy clubs e.g. from 19th and very early 20th centuries? Or on some of the other leagues around Melbourne, e.g. Metropolitan and Federal leagues. Other than Full Points Footy, not much else comes to mind.

What was the Metropolitan League is the foundation of the VAFA.
1892-1911 Metropolitan Junior Football Association
1912-1932 Metropolitan Amateur Football Association
1933-present Victorian Amateur Football Association
Plenty of clubs filtered in and out of the comp in its days.

The Federal Football League was in the southern suburbs of Melbourne.
Cheltenham, Ellindale, Moorabbin & Victoria Brewery were the first four clubs in 1909.

That article is reproduced from 1950.
The Federal League finished in 1981.

Man you're a font of footy knowledge. (MASSIVE UNDERSTATEMENT!)

Ever thought of setting up Wikifooty or Wikimero, just to get this kind of information out on the Web?

If you set up the website, I can provide the information.
We go 50-50 on the profits.

Where do we begin? And when?

I know that they signed with Energy Watch as their back sponsor a while ago.

I didn't design this, but what do people think about the proposed new guernsey for my local team, the Robe Roosters?

Definitely can see the North Ballarat Rooster there... I think it's a good design though. If Geelong West were still in the VFA/VFL, this would have been a good option :)

How do you pronounce the company 'Sekem'... For some reason I've always read it as Seekem, actually thought it was spelt that way but I just realised it only has 2 e's, makes me think it is said Seck-em.
