Probably a nominee for dumbest question of the year, however, what's the best way to form an accurate block letter 'c'? Just can't get the spacing right, The left hand, outer ring of the 'c' is fine but the inner ring just looks wonky and wrongly spaced. Any trick to it?

Have you tried making a circle with no fill and a stroke (I think) so that you have a ring, then cut it in half

The problem is that the 'c' in this case is elliptical rather than a proper circle. That's how I did the outer ring, but it's tough to get the inner ring aligned properly and the spacing right doing it this way.

What about doing it the circular way and then stretch it upwards?

What about doing it the circular way and then stretch it upwards?

Yeah, no luck. I think the major issue is that it isn't actually even a perfect ellipse; I'm trying to fit the c into the left hand side of the football (in between the two creases, which are actually formed from two distinct lines, not two sides of the same ellipse). All the other letters I've used are perfect but the curves of the 'c' are giving me massive issues.

Looking at it I actually think the problem is that the outer ring has a bulge, which is why I think the inner ring looks out. I'll see if I can fix that and go from there.

Finally got it to a point where I'm happy with it. Thanks for all your help Bryce_Jersey17 and NM Design. It's actually a header/logo for a site I'm making so once I'm finished with the design I'll put up a picture to show you how it all turned out.

That looks like Impact to me

The only font that is similar off the top of my head is Haettenschweiler

Hattenschweiler is more blocky IIRC. I think it's Impact.

Can anyone tell me what font is used for the numbers and letters on the back of this jumper? Is it just all capitals Impact or something else?

What do you guys think is closer? I think Im leaning towards the Hatten for text and Impact for Numbers

Hey m8s anyone know how to make a colour mask the same as this? (this is from essee's template)

bumping this because no progress has been made
In Illustrator judgong by the screenshot? If it is much the same as PS it goes a bit like this.
1. The Base Shape (DO NOT EDIT) Layer is exactly that.
2. The Base Colour layer is exactly that too.
3. Right Click on the Base Colour layer and in PS there is a option "Create Clipping Mask".
4. If there isnt this option when you right click, make sure the layer is still selected, go up to Layer in the main top Toolbar and there os another option for Create Clipping Mask.
5. if this all fails search how to create clipping mask in illustrator on youtube.

Hope this helps
