Anyway, my question, are Fitzroy wearing yellow shorts and Footscray red?

They were their Away shorts
Richmond wore Yellow as well, but only Away when the Home team had Black shorts.
Otherwise they wore Black

The change to coloured shorts had something to do with the introduction of colour TV, didn't it?

Im pretty sure thats what someone said when this discussion came up, on here, a few years ago anyway

It's the reason Melbourne changed to this in 1975.

Is the red stripe in the middle of the jumper suppose to be orange compared to the collar, cuffs and rest of it?

I agree, royal blue looks awesome.

Turns out it was worn for a heritage round in 2006 vs freo!!

Not really. They've done a great job with the Panthers and they make good shoes.

Used the wrong Red on the jumper.
Now fixed for 1975, 1979 & 1980 uniforms
