Oh, is that supposed to be pi? Maybe my browser's not showing it properly but otherwise that's one ****ed up looking symbol. I thought it was supposed to look like this:

Sheesh... you young whipper-snappers haven't heard about ASCII character sets. When you have 8x8 pixel space, characters become much smaller and simpler. Plus, that's how pi was represented in an *English* character set, it wasn't a major character so it wasn't detailed.

I'm trying to colour a logo in Photoshop and when I choose red, it comes out grey! Thoughts?

If I want to put stripes on my guernsey, so normally I would click on that second button underneath all the tools on the side. But now I have Windows 7 and the new version of paint doesn't have that. What do I do?

You can't colour a black-and-white image.
Increase the colour depth to 16.7 million and you'll be all set.

It does, it's just hidden away. Click the arrow underneath the Select button and then go to "Transparent selection"

Ω, turns out I had the colour scheme set on greyscale, probably because of the black and white shield.
I could colour the image, and it turned out to be my best logo ever!

Okay then, but it has the wrong magpie on the logo. It's for an Adelaide team, ignore the gradient in the background. I used the cross from the Adelaide Coat of Arms, I designed the AFC monogram, and a magpie from a Queensland sign, saying beware, swooping magpies

Thoughts? IMO it's my best and cleanest, so you don't have to believe it's my best.
I used this as a logo for a team called Adelaide Reds (no relation) in an app on my iPod. Great team, great logo, great game

Excellent independent design. Reminds me a little of the AFL-wear coats-of-arms from the 1990s (which featured Collingwood's CFC, Essendon's EFC et al), but a totally new creation. Keep churning out a few of these, perhaps in a portfolio thread - would be pretty cool to see your interpretation of each team.

TAC Cup? To even have the VFL shows how much they've packed into the game. For an Australian release, it doesn't sound that expensive.
