It looks like the SA State of Origin jumper, with red base and blue/yellow chevrons... but he only played for Fitzroy, East Perth, Vic and WA.... well, as far as I'm aware.

Okay, he also played for Maribyrnong Park:

Could be them.

South Australia? Scotch College?

Its definatly a SANFL state Guernsey. I have seen dozens of photos of WA players wearing Big V, SA or even Tassie Guernseys. Usually they wore the guernseys that they swapped with their State Counterpart to midweek training.

I have even seen collections over here from players who traded guernseys with big name players ie Nicholls

In terms of the colour saturations, it seems like red, blue, and yellow would be it. Plus the logo looks like the old circle Croweater one.

Maribyrnong are the Lions. So maybe they were somehow affiliated with the Roys back in the day.

Probably worth paging Smeagle for this too, because that Maribyrnong jumper is the in/famous Subiaco Lions one from the late 90s.

Any help much appreciated.

Sorry, No.
I made that one, and that was from the images from http://members.optusnet.com.au/~dgreen2/
(He sent them to me, I didn't download them from there)
It's the only place I know of that has those logos.

Can anyone shed any light on this one?

IIRC, this jumper was retired in 2011, but we didn't get Bankwest sponsorship until last year, when we moved to the current, updated away jumper.

Bankwest joined in 2011 as a "Premier Partner" before becoming a major sponsor in 2012. Not sure if that helps?

In the pre-season Port were playing without a sponsor on their jumper.

So they stuck put a sticker (or an iron-on thing) on top of them when Renault were announced as a sponsor.

And by round 12 they were fully sublimated. They were also noticeably smaller.

So, my 2013 John Butcher PI just came in the mail, and the stickers they've put on the jumper are put directly on top of the actual sponsor logo. So, my question is, why would they put them over the top? To make them bigger, of course, but why wouldn't the just re-print the new ones to that larger size as well? (Photos taken from the outside of the guernsey and then from the inside, so you can see the sublimated logo and the outline of the sticker)

I'd assume Port sent off some photos to Renault HQ in France or something. But then, why do it with VIP as well? They don't care.

Perhaps they just wanted to get rid of the stickers?

Back in the 90s, Sekem made almost everything
Got this pair of Allies shorts from an op shop up few days ago
Would this be Player issued or Retail?

I'm certain this is a Preston Knights jumper....Player issued?

I don't think they would've sold retail Allies shorts. Probably PI.

Those Allies shorts epitomise the concept of 'Allies' so well. Flawed, tacky, all style and no actual longevity or substance. Amazin'. Right up there with the Port Adelaide sky blue heritage socks for me.

Loved those PA sky blue socks! Don't know why they don't keep wearing them when they are able ;) Panera
