Probably a stupid question, but i have downloaded the SS Soccer template pack and its .rar file and i cant open the files in PS. What can i do ?

Select all and drag them somewhere.

Download winrar. Select the downloaded .rar file/folder. Extract to... It will extract the .rar files to a location, of which the template will go.

It's so that certain people don't ruin the most helpful and best thread on this board, by posting crap in it.

As Essee Cross said, we all post our templates and things in the "Universal Template Thread - Discussion", and the posts will be merged to the "Universal Template Thread".

The monogram in the background is obviously not the same as the one in the guernsey and is the one they started using on their guernseys from 1997 onwards. How old, exactly, is this monogram? When did it first appear? I know it was first used in an official capacity in 1976 when VFL logos became standard but what about before then?

Exactly as it looks like in the pic above, I'd say it looks like 1960 was the first time they used in on the Members tickets.

Bit flimsy whether it fits on this board or not, but does anybody here have experience with WordPress? If so, are there any limitations on the web page layouts/designs you can use on there? So for example if I were to just create a generic website layout on Photoshop and then splice it and convert it to html and such, would it work regardless of what it is?

I think if you can make it it will work. There are some specific wordpress codes so I don't think you can just upload your own code as is, rather you have to cut up your code into specific areas.

There are some good tutorials online of how to do it. One I have used has 3 approx 1 hour videos that take you from photoshop right through writing the code and then uploading to wordpress.

The link to the first video is below, the second and third are videos 72 and 73. It is really easy to follow and for someone who had never written a website in complete CSS I have been able to build a really good looking site from it. I am currently in between the second and third as I am trying to add some fancy menu stuff for a friends site, but then he will probably do the final steps himself when I finish the design.

Highlight the word you want a link to, then click the chain link button (Insert/Edit Link) then paste the wiki link, then click insert. Presto
