I think they butcher most media polo's but the rest are pretty much Adidas clothing.

What's Mero's great line?
It's not a Hawthorn jumper it's an Adidas jumper with Hawthorn colours or something similar.
Correct.
I don't really care what they do with what is essentially merchandise, such as polos etc, however to change the design of the club jumper to suit their crappy templates is what I think is over-stepping their brief.

I agree. But think yourselves lucky. At least those three stripes haven't found there way onto the playing uniform, yet!

They tried it and it got rejected.

Some would disagree

Does every player receive a one off jumper, or only those who play?
When they do a one-off jumper, mostly they're made so they can sell them.
Some clubs want to sell more, so they make one for everyone on the list, other clubs make them in the numbers of players likely to play in one to two week's time, as it takes that long to make them.
Sometimes the club will get players to swap jumpers at Half Time and wear a second one to maximise profitability.
So the short answer to your question is, it depends, some do just the players, others the whole list.

Why is it that this awya strip from about 2004 to 2006 gets so much hate from everybody? What is it that people dislike about it?

I've always liked the lightening strike look.

I reckon the main reason it's disliked it because of how busy it is. So much going on at once, including the failed experiment of gradients. I think conceptually, a teal jumper with black collar/cuffs and white design elements looks good, but they've butchered it by going with a million things at once with no sense of cohesion.

I've always thought that might originally intended to go with the triangle design, thought "hmm, that's a bit plain" and chucked the lightening over the top.

Shit jumper. Although the Power moniker really got put to the forefront back then. Glad it's been shoved aside in recent years.

It hasn't necessarily been 'shoved aside', but rather embraced in a different light.

Rather than trying to conceptualise the 'power' moniker as some sort of tangible artwork (a fist, lightning, etc), we've actually used it as an abstract concept as a reference to strength and superiority, particularly since our last few years and the move to AO has seen us rocket up to the top-4 of the league for average home attendance.

Basically, it's less cartoon and more real.

The 'POOOWWWWEEERRR' chants that echo at Adelaide Oval give my spine the tingles.

my favourite kind of file.

An Ai file is a file from a design program called Adobe Illustrator. What program are your basketball jersey's made on?

AI is an Adobe Illustrator file. They probably want any logos and wordmarks etc. that you want on there as a vector file in order to design the product at the highest quality

I haven't actually made anything yet as I wouldn't have a clue where to start, I just sent them a pic of what I wanted and they said I needed to send them an Al file otherwise they can't help me
