Have done that to no avail.

For the record, it's a song they played during a telecast last year and one I heard on Channel 9 a few years before that and on Foxtel during the broadcasting of the 2011 AFL Draft.

Hum it a bit, someone might know it.

I don't think the humming helped.

Right.

The problems with my one are that there weren't any lyrics to work with nor do I know what genre it is.

If you have any old recordings of the games (or keep an eye out on fox for a replay if a game of that era) shazam it

How confident are you that the notes you're singing are accurate? :p And what's the tempo?

Pretty confident and the tempo's about that pace if not a bit faster.

That humming sound represents a trumpet of some sort.

There's also drums and it was out in 2011 at the latest.

Ooooh, that last part of your singing actually sounds familiar.. Damn it!

When Hawthorn had the t-shirt jumper and they changed at half time, what did they wear? The home or the sleeveless version?
I think they just too scissors to them and cut the sleeves off.

Found this picture - Ochre vs T-shirt!

Hey everyone.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed or if it has been discussed on here, but after seeing a few photos of North Melbourne players this year, it would appear that Canterbury are producing and supplying two different 'sizes' of playing socks. On some players (usually taller), you can see they're wearing traditional length knee high socks, but on other players, small-mid sized, they are wearing shorter length.

Obviously in the past it's been a simple case of the same length socks being worn either up or down by each player. But in some of the photos I've seen, it would appear that some player's socks are only shin-high.

A photo would be good here.

I know Pav, as of about six years ago, wears a size smaller. They really stretch and look thin, and there's also no fold-over. It's probably for comfort and ease; smaller size means less chance of them sliding down?

I always thought Pies players could have it really easy for this.

Did anyone else used to struggle to have their socks not too fat and loose and bunched up? Used to hate when they got really wide or too bunchy, it was a real art to have comfortable pushed down socks...

Yep, noticed this last year, seems to be player preference as to who wears them.
This is last years leadership group photo.

Loving Peach's boots too there.

JMac, Higgy and Atley seem to use them the most.

Hoops for good measure.

I hate footy socks so much. I have the biggest size available but when I pull them up they reach my shin. I like having them at my knees. I do have large feet though so that's why (size 13).
