When was the last time both clubs wore the same colour shorts in the same match?
Didn't WC bring the wrong shorts to one game v the Dogs in the mid 2000s?

Carlton brought white shorts to an away game vs Geelong at Etihad in 2014, when they had been directed to wear navy. So both teams rocked up in white shorts and Carlton players had to switch before the bounce after getting the correct shorts delivered from Princes Park. Almost counts I guess!

WC brought their royal blue jumpers for an away game to the Dogs; I can't find it but maybe you mean that one?

what other manufacturers have pdf files like this?
I'd seriously encourage you to make your own Lynton, not only do the coopers ones look average, but you'll gain some valuable skills by figuring out how a template goes together yourself.

There's a whole range of designs that were posted in t20a and there's also an illustrator template turtorial on the board to take you through the technical stuff too. I'm not sure on anyone else, but I'm happy to give you some feedback/advice if you're willing to give it a crack. It can be a bit daunting at first, but if you want to take your designs to the next level like you seem to be doing in the NAFLr, then creating your own templates is something you really should be considering.

Bit of a general question just from some curiosity, so:

I know these days long sleeves are uber tight. In the 90s they were at their best with a tight cuff at the bottom, whereas in the 2000s the polyester jumpers just tapered but were still flowy at the bottoms. These days you really only see the Port and Blues version of the longy, and Geelong, and they're almost like skins from top to bottom – really tight.

But what are the retails like? Do they just sort of... go down? Do they cuff? What's the go?

I don't think ISC longy retails even exist

North sell them, is that it?

I am preaching to the choir here but it's a winter sport and (essentially) singlets look stupid on just about anyone but 6'5 black dudes on a basketball courts. I feel like long sleeves would sell pretty well, especially considering every bloke under 24 with a facebook account treats them like a meme.

Must be other teams that do but I haven't ever seen an ISC one for sale and those are probably the tightest and shortest on the players. Mind, I noticed during the Showdown while I was ignoring the football that a couple of our players had sleeves that went the whole way so I don't think they're 3/4 by design.

Agreed on the rest of that post. At least with basketball tops there's a sort of loose, wifebeater shape about them that suits casual wear. I used to see a guy around uni a couple years back wearing a sleeveless Dogs jumper with nothing underneath and it just looks so ****ing dumb.

You can wear a footy jumper, provided it's over a hoodie/jacket and you're at the actual football

Can anyone enlighten me as to the VFL's rules regarding manufacturer logos on shorts? It seems so mish-mash and very inconsistent.

Sometimes they're above, sometimes below, mostly tiny, sometimes non existent, in Footscray's case it's full size but on the right leg, while COAR is full sized on the left leg for Geelong. In the women's league, the CGR logo is massive.

So I discovered this when organising my clubs guernseys this year and being a size S, ran into the problem. When retail guernseys are made there is usually a big run of patterns for the bodies (S-7XL) but there is usually only 1 or 2 patterns for the sleeves, with the smallest size being a large. So generally speaking, a small and medium will look like they have quite long/baggy sleeves but a large & XL will look more fitted.

What do you mean by this, generally just the fit is different for smaller sizes or things like hoops and other elements are smaller/there are simply less hoops thus creating a warped illusion?
