On the odd occasion, (and it is odd) joffa lets his guard down and writes a post which is intelligent and intelligible, so attentive readers of BigFooty wopuld not be surprised to learn how eloquent he is on the radio !

Well, Mr.Ripper

You might have heard me on the wireless before ... but only if you've been listening to 3CR over the last 3 or 4 months. Prior to that, my last radio "appearance" (what IS the correct word????) was on a community radio station in Adelaide about 20 years ago ... and I was only a guest, not a presenter, in those days.

As for the Joffa rap ... Joffa hasn't actually heard the thing himself yet. I spoke to him on the phone earlier today and he couldn't pick up the station where he lives. I just hope he won't murder me for making him an international rap-star without his permission. I haven't even told him about it ... I was going to keep it as a surprise ... but the cat is out of the bag.

But once I get the AOK from the great man himself ... and I can't see why he wouldn't approve ... I'll be posting it on to an internet site for the whole world to hear.

But I don't have a transcript of the Joffa interview, unfortunately. With any luck, Joffa might have kept his notes and might be able to oblige. It was a well thought-out piece ... and was delivered in very articulate fashion. I think a few of you people out there underestimate this man. He is one of footy's great thinkers.

So are you for that matter, BSA.

Odd that Joffa can't pick up 3CR. I am informed that he lives in a far South Eastern suburb which borders on the South Eastern suburb that I live in.

I was able to pick up 3CR with a bit of static but overall OK!

Not so sure about your taste in music though.
I too thought your voice sounded familiar and eventually decided it sounded a bit like Baby John Burgess.
