use soccernet for the scores, but for true and factual reporting of matches and any other English football news give it a wide berth. They are notorious for inventing stories when nothing else has happened.

CFDCLad, as for your description on soccernet, are the journalists cynical and sarcastic as well? If so it looks like Mike, Caro and Patrick are branching out into other sports.

I prefer Sporting Life http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/

It's faster than Soccernet & has better coverage of other divisions. The Vidiprinter is updated after every goal scored in Britain.

Haven't spent much time at Sky Sports but their coverage looks pretty good.

Theres also the SBS one at www.theworldgame.com.au. It gives good aussie coverage, as well as international.
