Question for Kazaa users

I've been using Kazaa for a few weeks now and i've noticed that when i move a song i've downloaded from My Shared Folder to another directory, people are still uploading that song from my hard drive. How do they do that when My Shared Folder is supposed to be the only directory they can see?

go to TOOLS, OPTIONS.
click on the TRAFFIC tab and at the top you can change the default folder.

I cant remember what happens when you initially download Kazza, however you can manually program Kazza to allow other users access to files in various folders ANYWHERE on your hard drive. To do this, go to tools, then find media to share, then folder list, you can then check the folders on your hard drive that you are OK with sharing. Files in those checked folders will then come up on searches and can be downloaded.

Get ADSL it rocks PPL can be uploading at 12k/s and you dont notice.

Whilst on the subject of Kaaza/Kaazalite I am unable to play/preview what I am downloading until the file I am downloading is about 25-30% of the way through. When using WinMx (and others in the past) I can usually listen as soon as it starts downloading. Has anyone else experienced this?

with MP3's I've found I can play/preview them right from the start of downloading every time... haven't had a problem with it....

with some video clips though I can't preview them at all, I have to wait until they're fully downloaded to view them

Yes, and even then it might only play a few seconds of a song...even if it's 50% through!!!

Another Kazaa question....this is a problem I've been having for ages.....about 15-30 secs after I open my Kazaa window it just closes/shuts down automatically.....

Only on two occasions in the past, when the planets have aligned , kazaa hasn't shut down and I've been able to download whatever without hassle, however, this is extremely rare.

What the #@$% is going on and what can I do to fix this problem?

It's a trap tho' when you have lots of bandwidth. I have 1.5mb DSL, downloaded 27gb last week lucky my connection is free as I'd be paying a fortune otherwise.
