Competitions Question? Why was Lloyd dropped?

Lloyd has been good, but moved on to make way for Matt "the answer" Thomas. Also the fact that Vickery still gets a game astounds me. We are waay too tall and un-co up forward even when we have the ball (delivery to them simply isn't there) but when we turn it over it's even worse as oppositions are walking the ball out of our F50. Lloyd and Miles should be getting a game ahead of Vickery and Thomas.
You know that good arguments could be made for Lloyd and Miles as you say, but it's a peripheral issue really. We really need our best players up and running so it doesn't really matter who our 21st/22nd players are.
Not having a pot at you kosi, but I feel that there is far too much angst over Thomas v Miles.

Pretty stiff to be dropped considering the way some are going but he does smack of a bush footballer who's a little slow and plays a bit one way.
Only thing I can think of is they have given him some things to work on in the twos rather than the ones.

With Thomas back in the side, hopefully they move Edwards permanently forward to take Lloyd's place.

In the last few games, I've noticed Lloyd's demeanour had changed from a hard working, head down player to a complacent and quite cocky player. Evidence was last week when he was running the forward 50 boundary line and he lashed away at goal when there were options inside. Just showed a lack of care and complacency. The kid has talent and can be a good player for us but he hasn't made it at an AFL club for a reason. Go back to VFL and earn your jumper. In my opinion, he nor Gordon have a place in our 22. Knights when fit and Edwards are far superior players.

Not a bad thing having Gordon and Lloyd in the VFL kicking 3-4 a game and knocking down the door as the Pies do with Martin and Karnezis in the VFL.

Thomas was absolutely huge today. Not just his actual output either. The tone he set early with his attack on the ball & contest was critical.

He was great and benefited from having players moving around him.... some great handballs to runners.... and his kicking wasnt too bad either.

the results speak for themselves..... just glad I got GWS at $4 in my Multi....

Morris forward what did everyone think? Will they do it again next week ? Certainly brings forward pressure
I think he was moved there due to lack of decent GWS small forwards (Smith was taken by Dea yes?)

Also that Shaw is a pretty dangerous player if left unguarded.
