hey guys, coming over with a mate in 3 weeks for carlton adelaide, just wondering how much a cab from the city centre to footy park is roughly?

and how much of a wait is there after a game?

A cab to Footy Park on a game night? Pfft... nah!

Bugger that, mate! It would cost you more than enough to think "that was stupid". Best bet is to get the Footy Express bus, make sure you have your ticket on you so you get on for NOTHING and get an early bus in to avoid major traffic. Buses that are scheduled to arrive 20 mins before the game usually get caught in Port Road rush hour.

Return trips leave from the same spot you get off at, but leave right after the siren to get on quickest.

Buses leave Currie Street (at King William St intersection), get on there to assure yourself a seat.

If you catch a cab make sure they dont put you on tarrif 2 (unless its after 7pm).

They always do it, costs alot more.

I'd do what everyone else is suggesting and catch the bus.

You better hit the turps whilst your in Adelaide. Its ****ing good along Hindley and Rundle. Just make sure you have some money left over at the end of the night to buy Hungry Jacks.
