Official Club Stuff Questions/Comments for the EFC?

Hey there EFC.

I'm an AFL member with EFC upgrade. I recieved an Email from the membership department a few days ago asking me to upgrade my membership to include a reserved seat for all Etihad Stadium games. I think the cost was around $85. I definitely would have taken up the offer, however had already pre booked for the whole year through Ticketmaster in the 3 day window they provided.

My absolute preference would be to pay the club rather than ticketmaster, but under the circumstances, it's not gonna happen this year. Just wanting you to pass on to the Membership department that I think it is a great initiative, but in future could they try to get in a little earlier. I have 3 other close friends who booked tickets with me, and I'm sure they, as well as myself and plenty of others out there would rather see the profits in the coffers of the mighty Dons.:thumbsu:

Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback, I will pass this on the membership team.

Thanks for all the help, and my brother is happy with the responses he got from the EFC. If you guys want a copy of his report, he is happy to oblige.

Kind regards,

There is also a club motto, not sure how old it is, but it goes 'sauvitor in modo fortiter in re' translating to 'gentle in manner, resolute in deed'.

For fully ticketed matches, can Bronze Member's still get free access to standing spots?

Standing room doesn't get sold until all regular seats have been sold. It is free in the sense that you can go to Ticketmaster, show your membership and get your seat and then choose to stand. Or, if it is a sold out match standing room tickets will be available a week before the match. This is also 'free' however I think you will need to pay a booking fee if purchasing online.

Hope that answered your question?

Are the reports of Jobe Watson trying to organise a sit down protest for the Round 1 clash between the Bulldogs and Essendon true?

EDIT: Question answered by club release/media so withdrawn.

New question: I asked earlier about whether the MCG sized ground at our new training base could be expanded (through expandable boundaries) to simulate any ground. I was wondering whether you could confirm for sure whether this is the case.

EI,

The MCG website provides information on matches with an estimated crowd figure. However the Etihad stadium website does not. What is the estimated crowd for the St Kilda and how many tickets have been sold so far?

Cheers

Not sure on estimated crowd, but reserved seats on Level 1 and 2 are sold out, some reserved seats on level 3 are still available. Being a St Kilda home game though it is general admission, so people will be able to just rock up and get a seat. That is unless it is a genuine sell out and then you can get knocked back at the door.

Buying tickets for this game has been so frustrating.

Tried to book online on the 9th when I was IN HK - to continually receive a message that all tickets were sold. Tried on three separate occasions.

Went to a Ticketmaster outlet to be mistakenly informed that tickets dont go on sale until the 25th - Went back the next day - to find out there was only one seat left on Level 3 ( needed two seats ) tickets available - premium level 2 at $ 57.OO a pop - Had to resort to buying Genaral Admission tickets - And hope to get a seat on level 3.

Have to say that Ticketmaster offers a poor service compared to Ticketek.
