regarding Marty Mattner, If I remember correctly when Jonas was hired he mentioned that he had a few players in mind that he would like to try in defence. Maybe he is the reason why Marty is there.

I need to sit down and transcribe the interview (which I will do shortly) - but my recollection was that he was happy with Mattner as a defender. Not sure if he meant for always or whether it was while Stiffy was out. Like I said, I will try to transcribe what he ACTUALLY said and put it on here shortly.
