Absolutely, Choco's been inundated with well wishes from all football supporters - he is very thankful of all the support

RFC, since I don't have a twitter acc, can you put fwd my question in the Dimma dissection. RFC_Official

Q- Dimma, can you please instruct Ben Griffiths to kick the ball further out from the man on the mark. I believe this is why his accuracy isn't what it should be. He can roost the ball miles, so I don't know why he think's you need to scrimp on the distance.

The flea.

I just watched the Rance home ground video and what a disappointment. For mine the joy of these videos has been the players taking the piss out of each other and I went in expecting something special. Instead we get Dale Vine. Pfffft. Bring back Newy or use Richo. You'll end up with much better material.

It's an AFL.com.au video that we put on our site - our stuff is much better

A lot of online controversy about the decision to wear our dreamtime jumpers Friday night.
Seems there was no communication with the members and I'm seeing more negative posts than positive ones.
I understand the club are wanting to look proactive and be I the front foot while taking the moral approach, but shouldn't the opinions of the 70000 members that pay the bills be taken into account?

No. They're taking a stand. Support Goodes or get out of our game.

* I boo Goodes

Thanks Rouel_14 appreciate the post. This was a decision born from the club's leadership group. I don't think it's been made to generate more positive than negative posts on the internet, it's been made to show what the players at the club feel they and the game stand for.
Plenty of times decisions will be made as a club without consulting all members, in many regards, that's the role of those charged with being leaders of the club.

I know the club (Damien) made a statement supporting Goodes and outlineing the reason for our players wearing the indigenous jumper (which is fantastic) but it appears the club and more so the AFL need to provide some education to supporters (and community) because there are so many naive opinions and understandings around racism and bullying and the resulting affects on individuals (victims/receivers). Its actually embarrassing and frustating to read comments on this forum from fellow richmond supporters who appear not to share the same morals and values as the club and the majority of the afl football community. Having said that, it is probably not a moral or values problem its more about lack of education and understanding which leads to the naive opinions, comments and postings.

Most decisions by clubs are decided by management/leaders of which the members voted in to make decisions on their behalf. You don't poll the members for every thing they might want to do. If we don't like then you can voice your opinion via polls or by letting the management know, but don't get upset if they don't reverse or change their minds.
