I'm not sure if there is a questions thread, but meh, i've got a few questions.

What happens when a new player signs up, and lets say the Whitsunday Crocs say "Yeah we'll take him". So anyway this bloke comes along and starts playing for WC. In the sim, do you just rename the player? But if you did that it would have all the previous players stats.
I dont think you can indivdually erase someones stats. So what happens?
When a player signs up can ANYONE get him? first in best dressed?

Also did you used to have a reserves league? If yes, what happened to it?

Trades; how do you work them? Can players move on a free transfer? Or do they have to do something else? Does someone update teams when new players sign up or are traded?

Also, have you thought about introducing money into it? Just an idea.

And finally, just say if you want a new team to join, how does it work? Do you have to PM people asking to join?

Thanks guys!

Wouldnt mind seeing that, just to add something extra to it. Have a slary cap etc, but then teams would have to have a maximum numbers on their squad, so would new players be able to join haf way through?

There is a transfer program so if a player is delisted they get transferred to a non existant team

Yes

Dont think so, was going to be 1 this year but it never got going

Trades are agreements between 2 captains and the players involved just like real trades, free transfers were available for players not getting a go but all had to be done in a set time period

Not sure

You can PM people, start a thread to gauge interest, but best to wait till seasons end when we know how many teams there are/will be

It has been discussed before. But eventually it was decided that it was too complicated and that there would be far to many complaints to ever make it work.

Although, I would like to see it implemented, would make for an interesting competition.

I think Yze's competition on another website uses the salary cap and stuff so maybe he can give us some tips? ;)

It would be tough to implement on such a big scale, but on my website its worked pretty well and helped entice quite a few posters which was its main aim.

Adds an extra interest factor to the whole Fantasy Cricket thing.

The Allies would seriously oppose any attempt at a salary cap.

Although if it did come in we'd still keep all our stars but just run a small squad.

A salary cap would'nt work on such a big site, It would just be another bit of information that people would forget...

Like the rules for submitting a team...

If we had a salary cap it would be like the AFL with some clubs getting higher caps for stupid reasons

The crocs would gain 10% for the loss of their superstar spinner

20% increase to whichever side can provide someone to do the ladders every week :p

The match threads will be up when I finish the one day ladder, but your constant posts are distracting me ;) :p

Allies would gain a lot for taking the game global, we are the international team.

The more i think about it, the more i like the money idea. The club should be given a certain amount, and then decided with the players who gets what etc, and then when trade period comes around.. it could be very interesting. To make it easier, average salarys should be around AFL salarays so its easier to get used to etc
