Who is the TK you speak of? Narkle is the perfect replacement to be honest, I’d even say Narkle is a tougher player, give him a full injury free pre season and this guy will be a star. Our TK replacement.

We knew he got it when he played last year. He’s got it. Thought he was one of the only clean players tonight with the ball.
Love how he’s hard at it, explosive and things happen when he has the ball.
Great sign for the future.

why wasnt narkle in the team from the beginning of this season. Ridiculous.
After identifying his endurance as a flaw over summer, Quinton Narkle's tank continues to be a work in progress. The 21-year-old's highlights reel is as good as anyone's, but an inability to finish games strongly has let him down in the early parts of the VFL season.
Turned up unfit and injurieswhy wasnt narkle in the team from the beginning of this season. Ridiculous.
Not really - quite happy if the club has set standards for the players & that there's consequences for those who don't meet required standards; as long it's applied across the board and not just selectivelywhy wasnt narkle in the team from the beginning of this season. Ridiculous.
Quinton Narkle has been slowly building in the VFL after a far from ideal pre-season where he didn’t return in peak condition.
As a result he’s been made to wait but the 21-year-old made up for lost time with an impressive opening half.
Poor shape aerobically, took a sustained go at vfl before breaking into afl. Sounds like ChookPut simply, he was in poor shape aerobically.

Why can't he get a game? Your club's missing men
They're the players who should be best 22, but aren't getting a look in. AFL.com.au reporters investigate whywww.afl.com.au

The talent and footy nous has never been in question. By contrast, the fitness and determination to run both ways has been fairly mediocre at times.
I for one am delighted that he's now working hard enough to reap some of the benefits of his undoubted ability. If he stays fit and motivated, he will be a massive asset over a long period of time for the GFC.

Do you honestly think he improved it while missing a large chunk of this season injured?Put simply, he was in poor shape aerobically.

Chris Scott has a quota in his contract of how many young players he will interact with each preseason. He likes to do it alphabetically. Unfortunately Narkle, despite being before Parsons, wasn’t on a first name basis (James is before Quentin), so he missed out. Likewise Wylie. It’s all true, take it from me.Fine if applied to everyone. How does atkins and henry keep getting games?
Too much meat in the Narkle sandwich?Turned up unfit and injuries

some good stats there...Ablett Jnr 2.0 in my eyes. Looks a lot like The Little Master in the way he moves.
His numbers in the last few games have been insane, when you factor in the low gametime and that he's still building his fitness base:

Massive tank-building pre-season for this bloke, and the sky is the limit!
