To try and break the tension just a bit are there any Quirky little things you can share here that you will or won't do today in an effort to get the Cats over the line tonight, for me it's no pokies at all today, if I lose it's normally a bad sign for the Cats, there were no machines on Fraser last week and we got up over the Lions by plenty so I'm going to school on that and abstaining .Cats by 8 points.

I sometimes do a little prayer the night before. Ask for my brother to give us a little bit of help but this time around, I asked for my cat (who passed away a few days ago) to give a little something back after all those years of free food, shelter and unconditional love :)

Could be either a bad omen or a very good one . . . given she was a Cat and all.

I've spent the day trying to ring C Scott.
"Take out Walker now, put Brown in. Move Christensen to the emergencies. Pull out Thurlow just before the game and play Bundy"

*sigh* some people don't get the idea of the thread YPO

I go around to every single oppositions house pre-game and give them the old "flaming paper bag full of runny gooey dog poo"!!
I dunno if it actually does anything for the club but it's damn funny!

I'm with ya Bobby_

I have liked to compare Geelong with the great Roger Federer, and even on Friday, when he was nearly out in straight sets, he got up in 5, and his successes have somewhat parallelled Geelong's over the years. I thought him getting up was a positive for us.

So we lost.
And RF lost to Cilic today.
Maybe the message is both are past their best. At least we can regenerate. Roger is sadly fading from his era of absolute dominance with some cameo performances as a reminder of his glory days.

Do you think like Geelong as Nadal and Novak get closer to the 17 Grand Slams mark people will try to diminish how good Roger is/was or whether he is the GOAT?

He still plays the same beautiful style, enjoy it while it lasts. I get why he still plays too, if you love it why quit? Retirement is a very long time.
