An 80 year old grandmother couldn’t do worse than Hannan, he seems to offer nothing each week, I don’t see anything he brings, seems hyped off a one off mark

Geelol can’t play much better and they are only 7 points up. They tire in the second half most weeks. I think we have got them IF we play a bit smarter with our forward kicks.

Geelong can play much, much better than this. Danger anonymous, Cameron hasn’t got much ball and they’ve been a bit sloppy too apart from that purple patch of five mins when they kicked three goals.

Agree....tonight so far we have been far too quick to kick it. Playing conservatively as if it's pissing rain. Back our run and carry and run these grandpa's off their legs in the second half.

Geelongs defence seem to be holding their shape behind the ball and allowing us to get extras through the middle of the ground.

This has resulted in us either having to kick it long(Bailey Smith) where we are outmanned or hold the ball and wait for us to get forward(the Bont).

If the game slows down in the second half, just the type of scenario Wallis excelled in years ago in the midfield. Pace might come back to his level.

I think we can definitely win it but yes Sweet should have definitely played. We would have had an advantage in the ruck with Sweet playing and then use English forward. I hope Wally gets a run in the second half. This sort of game actually suits him and I think he could be a difference maker.

We’ve been consistently competitive in the ruck this year for the first time in a while. English has played solidly as a forward and part time ruck, making our forward line taller and difficult to deal with.

So before the game starts we decide to remove both of those advantages in one hit by removing Martin and not replacing him with Sweet. On top of that he’s replaced by a guy who hasn’t played footy in a year.

This loss, if it happens, is entirely on the MC. Ludicrous decision.

I don't want to turn it into a Bevo bash, but you're absolutely correct, English as sole ruck creates 2 weaknesses.

Unless Hannan has the best second half of his life, he is a certainty to be dropped.

English shown nothing tonight, 5 years in the AFL system and still has no mongrel.

And 2/3 of our side panic bombs it or panic handballs when under pressure, been the same since 2019.
