Sad to hear the passing of somebody that meant so much to all of you.
Hoping some good comes out of this tradegy. Be strong and support each other.
Many condolences to his family and friends. May his/her memory live on.

Just logged back into BigFooty returning from holidays and this was the first thing I saw. I'm genuinely devastated - as others have said he was just a ripping bloke in online and the limited offline exposure I had to him.

Look out for those around you....

As above, first thread read as just back from holidays.
Terrible news.
RIP QS and condolences and best wishes to his Family and Friends.

Rest In Peace, QS. Condolences to his Family, Friends and the posters on here who knew him outside of BF.

Thank you for all of your time and effort in helping to return the wings.

My main contact with QS was through the ReturnTheWings movement/thread. I really loved getting an alert and seeing one from him, knowing it would be quality. It's 1am and I've felt the urge to pay a small tribute to him and what he achieved:

Proud totem, what have they let you become?
Colours bleached, meaning stripped,
Soulless creature, wings clipped.
Your guardians have failed you.

Query Stocks, set the wheels in motion,
21st century town crier, you have found your calling.
Spark a movement, provide its bearings,
Set cyberspace ablaze with your rallying cry!

Proud Eagle you have your wings
To soar in the royal blue sky over western sands of gold.
From your Earthly bounds released, fly evermore.
QS, rest in peace.

Have admired your work from the shadows for years, rest easy.

It was with a heavy heart that I read of the passing of QS.

Great poster and contributor to our Board.

Fair to say he was instrumental in ensuring that the wings were returned.

I will now see “The Wings” and think of the QS contribution to the authenticity of of the jumper.

Condolences to his family and friends at this time.

Although I didn’t know him personally, I never the less will miss him , by vertue of the fact that he will be missing from the Board.

I also concur with others that at the right time it would be fitting to Name an Award in his honour.
And POTY award would be apt and get my vote as a worthy idea .
