Preview R10: Changes vs. Collingwood

Three of those games at home (Fremantle, Gold Coast and Brisbane - all with horrific records at Adelaide Oval) and the away game in Sydney (last round).

I’m more happy with last 4 games against Collingwood decided by less than a kick.
Brisbane's record here isn't too bad in recent times

And given Moore isn’t playing then rest Walker.

And potentially it is going to be showery - 1mm to 9mm forecast.

Why?

As much as you can say weather, we've spent the vast majority of the time with TT-Fog-Tex structure. Equally, our key forwards are our main weapon. No point throwing that chemistry away in an attempt to be cute.

We have West Coast the following week to rest up Tex (and Soligo).

Some of those outs massively square it up now, also looking at the performance last week against Freo - Collingwood were not exactly dominant. It was 62 to 34 inside 50's and they got smashed in clearances as well, we were nearly at $3 earlier today - way too long odds.

Only Moore. DeGoey is useless at the moment: we would be better off if he were playing.

In the mix

Craig McRae will be without Moore for Saturday’s game against Adelaide and its trio of key forwards due to a shoulder injury. De Goey has been sidelined with another Achilles tendon injury. Scott Pendlebury and Brayden Maynard will return against the Crows after missing the trip to Perth, while Mihocek is pushing to be available after straining his abdominal against Geelong. Charlie West did his chances of a debut no harm by kicking four goals in the VFL after travelling to Western Australia. Wil Parker was also busy against the Northern Bullants and Tom Mitchell took the next step towards an AFL return. – Josh Gabelich

Crows were $2.96 and +15.5 for 10mins after Moore and JDG were announced as outs.

Into 2.60 and +12.5

Charlie West looking one of the steals of the draft , we took Welsh instead which is looking like the wrong move

He was the one South Australian I wanted us to take without question for our list, best tall contested mark in the 2024 draft IMO with the added ability to chop out in the ruck and how the draft watchers weren't all over him is mistifying.....Collingwood got that one right.

Tex needs a break.

We are stupid if he is not managed during the year.

West coast would be a good week and then another game later ( bulldogs at Ballarat ?) or hawks in Tassie
The best time is when he needs a break... which is now.
