Not sure it's been raised on here, but why not give Draper the same kind of HB role both Daicos and Sheezel were given in their first years? Surely Milera or Nank can currently be dropped based on form. Nank with a whopping 72m gained........................................
I just feel like there's enough experience back there at the moment, particularly with Hinge and Laird, that we can take the risk.

Can't argue with resultsGood clubs bring talented youngsters through the easiest roles on the field - half back.
Poor clubs stick their senior players there in a vain attempt to prolong mediocre careers.
Can you guess which we are?
We're doing exactly that with Edwards...............in the twos.Would be a simple, smart option
We've gone out of our way to avoid ushering in young midfielders at half back for some reason
I thought he had some pretty good moments on SaturdayI reckon they'll drop Curtin this week. dropping an underperforming junior player for their scheduled big stat-padding moment is a common trick.

So did Goodwin. And I think Kane Johnson. It is weird, Macca, Roo and Edwards all started behind the ball. 3 of our best handful of midfielders.
Do other teams do it anymore? It is weird, Macca, Roo and Edwards all started behind the ball. 3 of our best handful of midfielders.

I’m struggling to think of examples
N. Daicos 1st season was mainly off half back, Sheezel also. those 2 come to mind.Do other teams do it anymore?
