Laird shouldn't have a spot in this team - he's not doing anything wrong, but he's a limited footballer and we already have better options. Watch our ball movement from defense go backwards from last week due to his selection.

Smith - can live with it, but only because we haven't taken the opportunity to get someone like Edwards (even Draper?) into the side and settled.

Tex - if it is wet and we play him, it's a joke, and just proves that the tail is wagging the dog.

Laird is still getting paid top dollar. I noticed crom are always slow in dropping bigger money guys out of form or not the right fit.

TBH, Brodie Smith's meter eater of a leg is probably gonna come in quite handy tonight in the wet weather territory battle.

Also, predicting a get-right game for Jake Soligo, ironically I wouldn't be surprised if his clean ball handling, vision and tidy possession will return in the super challenging conditions.

I responded to the comment “2017 Band back together again”.

Do you think that was an accurate comment given the FACT that Murphy was not on our list in 2017?

I realise it is very frustrating for some of our supporters to see all of the old guys in our team this week. We have increased the number of players in their thirties by 50% this week.
womp womp yet again

He said it was his best season for the Crows in 2017, a factually correct statement considering he played for the

No doubt Tex shouldn't be playing tall. Tonight is perefect for a quick small player like Draper.

Hopefully the legend that is Tex proves me wrong and kicks 5.

Not sure what? Had no drama with Trigg as a teacher, he was my year 12 Geography teacher, I got 17/20. As I posted back in the day, he’s just not a particularly intelligent person, it’s no wonder he failed at the more important and difficult decisions. He’s a very average operator.

And nothing to do with footy, played firsts all through year 11 until dislocating my shoulder. Then got OP and further dislocations, playing only a handful more games across end year 11 and year 12.

I will admit that I didn’t like school footy much as it wasn’t as geared to winning as club footy. To under 15s I was at Rosewater and then Pooraka for 17s. Winning was why we were there, I never felt that sense of hard competitiveness at Saints.

I think it's a dig at the elitist private school you went to

Ah so this explains a lot….

I'll say, no wonder Triggs reign was an absolute disaster for the AFC, fancy putting an over officious teacher as the CEO of a footy club with a multimillion dollar turnover.

Edit: Oh, that's not what you meant. You were referring to 1970's distain of Steven.

And I’m still not wrong, 7 defenders, Smith is sub. Either he swaps with a defender or if not, one of them will move up the ground. Weird gloat of yours.
However it’s good to see Smith named as sub. Many in here thought it would be one if the kids.

By best season ever, are you referring to his back-to-back awards as employee of the month at Crowmania?
Didn't he win our B&F in the SANFL?
