You think the club is evolving and then you see Murphy playing in the As while our pick 4 is playing SANFL again.
You just know next year the simps on here will be saying '' see this is why Draper played a lot of SANFL so he can reach this level at his own speed - great coaching ''

"Throughout his career, Murph has been a great example to his teammates with regard to his reliability when it comes to playing his role for the team,” Kelly said.

“To that end, he has had a significant influence as a leader on the team-first approach of our playing group.

“This is something that does not waver with Murph, regardless of whether he is playing at the AFL level or SANFL level."

How about a little thing called talent

What a weird ****ing thing to say about a regular Thursday night selection.

It's like they feel the need to 'sell' this selection.

It's very ****ed up.

I had already tipped Hawks this week - game in Tassie and Hawks

And I am happy to keep them as my tip

But its a really frustrating moment to know that shape is more important than development

Smith will still be sub I imagine, at least

But I really just can’t get over this
Prefer we play Smith & leave Murphy as a sub we never use... even if we have an injury.

Murphy predictor

7 k, 2 h, 3 dropped marks, 0.5 tackles
Last quarter when the game in on the line... donuts, but brilliant shape running around like a headless chook.

Reliably shit yes, in that sense I guess the team mates know not to give him the ball.

Guess Nicks wants to tank our top 4 chances...

We should be thankful that our list managers don't allow any more senior player options for selection.

Below are our oldest 19 players.

The only three not in the team are the back up rucks, and the back up ruck/forward (rookie), and Crouch (in before injured).

We are doing the exact same thing we did a few years ago, pumping absolutely pointless games into McHenry who was then delisted.

Murphy will not be on our list next year and we are putting him into the side for absolutely ****ing no return.
Sadly he’ll be on the list for years to come while Nicks is here.

Dowling, Draper and in particular Edwards would be exceptionally frustrated with selections like this.
