I think I just disagree that taking the kick-outs and doing some basic defending qualify as a sub contribution worthy of being retained in the side?

Fundamentally the problem is it not his position. He doesn't have a position in a side that is already playing Laird, Milera, Hinge, Cumming etc.

I think they felt that they maybe overused this ace up the sleeve. Other teams were onto it, ready for it. I think it will reappear down the track.

It was copied from Cats with Hawkins. Hawk did it about a full season prior to Tex. But it's a great strategy, if the opposing ruckman attempts to get close, both those guys have massive bench press power. But the strategy is done now, it's over.

As if SANFL had anything to do with it. Murphy is the logical replacement for Pedlar, who shat the bed. Peatling's replacement is a different discussion. Pedlar can't remain.

Why would they bring him in when we got draper for peatling?
